You can buy Bitcoin in Toronto with cash at 20 Bitcoin4U machines, from Elm Basket on Elm Street downtown to The Laundry Boss in Thorncliffe Park. Each one sells Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USD Coin, Solana and XRP for Canadian bills and sends the coins to a wallet on your phone.

Subway, streetcar or parking lot

Several of the downtown and east-side machines are a short walk from a subway station or streetcar line, while most of the stores in York, and The Laundry Boss, have parking. Every machine is cash only and takes no cards. For days when you would rather leave the bills at home, an online order paid by Interac e-Transfer reaches your wallet just the same. Can I turn crypto into cash at one of these stores?

No. All 20 are buy-only machines and none of them pays out money. Selling happens online through our sell page, with payment by Interac e-Transfer.

What should be on my phone?
